In the Land of Kitsch, a curious girl has decided to smell a flower.  Despite my tradition of only sharing titles with the owners of each amulet, I have often referred to this work as “Little May,” nonetheless.  A poem about her follows.  “A most exquisite flower, / Brought from a snow shower, / Little May had picked. // How her friends would glower! / But, with the sweet comes the sour, / For on its thorns her fingers were pricked.”
