A creature looms on the outskirts of the city—cold, solitary, and yearning.  An oddity, she lives in a rarefied world, separate from us.  Despite the fragility of her winged eyelids or the tulip that grows from her chest, she still survives.  Her kind are mythologized as decadent, romantic, and misunderstood.  She is part of my “Vampyre” series.
